Landcent Appoints Justin Hays as Chief Executive Officer; Founder Arun Prabhu to Continue as Executive Chairman and Lead Prevention Business

Landcent has appointed Justin Hays as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st November 2025. Founder and current CEO Arun Prabhu will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of Landcent Europe and will remain deeply engaged in the company’s mission, leading Landcent’s Prevention Business, which focuses on Vector Control solutions – an established, core business line addressing malaria prevention.

Under Arun Prabhu’s leadership, Landcent has grown from an early-stage Research and Development enterprise into a global organization with a robust and expanding product portfolio, a strong pipeline of innovations, and strategic partnerships across the public and private sectors. Arun’s vision and commitment have laid the foundation for Landcent’s next chapter of growth and impact.

The leadership transition comes at a pivotal time for the company. Over the next twelve months, Landcent will move from development into execution phase, bringing its impactful solutions to market at scale. With more than a decade of international commercial leadership experience, Justin Hays has been appointed to lead this phase in recognition of his exceptional commercial acumen, proven operational expertise, and decisive execution capabilities that this next stage demands.

Prior to joining Landcent, Justin led a $300M+ rare disease business at a U.S. pharmaceutical company where he later became responsible for international expansion into Europe, demonstrating his ability to build high-performing teams and drive sustainable growth across diverse markets. At Landcent, Justin has served as Vice President of Commercial, where he has worked closely with Arun and the leadership team in the last two years to strengthen Landcent’s commercial strategy, build partnerships, and prepare the company for market launch.
